While sales of Fantasia were slow at first, the success of "When I See U" helped it to reach Gold status. Fantasia also starred on Broadway in The Color Purple and in her very on Lifetime movie.

With 8 career nominations at the AML Music Awards but no wins, Fantasia is truly deserving of this honorary Achievement Award.
